"WELCOME TO CIRCO SISCO!"
The naive and amazed gaze of a child brings to life the incomparable gallery of characters of an imaginary circus. While the clowns gather for a dance in the circus arena, the music accelerates and gives us the thrill of a final refrain. The numbers alternate under the direction of the ringmaster, Monsieur Loyal: the horsebreaker, the trapeze artist, the clowns musicians, the cat choir, the strong man, the magician, the illusionist, and then acrobats, tightrope walkers, acrobats, singers and charmers ... until the White Clown and the Augustus, playing the trumpet and dancing one last round of the waltz, disappear behind the curtain! A tribute to the magical universe of the circus, steeped in a bittersweet nostalgia for a vanished world, to Fellini's cinema and Nino Rota's music, to the great characters of the circus (Fratellini, Zavatta, Gruss) up to the clowns of the 7th art Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton. A hymn to life, joy, dreams and freedom of artistic expression.
