MARIO CASTELNUOVO-TEDESCO AT CARNEGIE HALL
Two wonderful concerts to conclude the project "The forgotten greats: Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco" at the Cagliari Conservatory; both performed for the first time, a few years apart (1935 and 1939) by extraordinary performers, protagonists of the New York musical scene in the legendary Carnegie Hall: Arturo Toscanini and Grigorij Piatigorsky, performers of the grandiose Concerto for Cello and Orchestra op.72, John Barbirolli and Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco himself, with the brilliant Concerto for piano and orchestra n.2 op.92.
